I think ive passed the 20 Hour Playtime by now and i still love it!!! The game has a really smooth feeling to it, which i couldnt find in any other Volleyball games. I also Love the style u should definitely keep the robots, furthermore expand on the style options :) Do you think there will be a Online Multiplayer in the future?

if you don't make this game playable on Mac I will cry

Honest review:

honestly im just gonna start by saying that the pc controls need fixing, aswell as needing more options to change (like the actual spike button since most pc players would rather it be left click). The camera is a bit weird to play on since you view it on a side angle and not from your character so if you could introduce camera settings like a top view or one that follows the character that would be nice. 

The hitboxes are just weird and need improvement. Passing is hard because the angle of the camera is weird and it messes with depth perception, but the hitbox is also only really there in the very small moment the animation of passing or setting happens which makes timing pretty hard. 


Thats really all the things i can think of improving other than the gameplay itself but the game being in developement thats guaranteed to change and improve. The game itself is pretty fun and has alot of potential so good luck. 

Also i should just mention that in training mode the serve machine doesnt work and teh spiking machine is impossible to read

Regarding PC controls, I will try to add more customization options!

I just modified the camera to be a bit more from above, which will allow for better game reading (for the next update).

I increased the hitbox for the next update. Try moving into the ball and taking it in front of you :D

This is my honest feedback after about 5 hours of gameplay:

I know you recommend a controller but you got to have better starting keybinds for keyboard. I changed mine to movement on W,A,S,D and block, set and dive to K, O, P as it felt more natural because movement is maybe for most people second nature to have on W,A,S,D and then with your fast paced game it isn't possible to have action buttons asinged to the same fingers.

The timing for receiving and setting is a little unforgiving and even more so if you want to do a longer set because you have to perfect your trajectory too.

PLEASE FIX THIS : Even the most advanced robot ( lvl 9 ) tries to spike the ball from 5 meters out after you dive for the ball and it goes to the net. Maybe he should send the ball over by jumping and setting the ball to the other teams corner.

The serve mashine in the training dosen't work ( it spawns a ball that just drops on the floor and gets right back up as it resets and the cycle repeats ).

In the training the icons for actions and movement are a little too small.

Make it so that there are buttons for everything so that you can select each one with the mouse.

Kind of a hard request, but can you please add multiplayer by any chance, please.

Regarding catching the ball, I increased the hitbox (for the future update). Try to move forward and take the ball in front of you as much as possible.

Yes! I absolutely need to fix the AI bug that spike far into the net! I'm doing this as quickly as possible!

Regarding the training machines, the bugs occur when you've played a match before, normally it's fixed for the future update!

I'm not promising anything, but I'll try to add a multiplayer mode even tho it requires a lot of work!!

5 Main issues otherwise its pretty fun:
1- Passing is so hard for no reasons sometimes I dont know why I got it or didnt get it
2- Blocking correctly feels impossible, only the bots can do it (after further playing, I figured out how to block, but to my understanding you need nearly max jump to be able to do it which is kinda buns, also you not only need to jump at the right time, be at the right place and press block at the right time to stuff your opponent, you also need to have the PERFECT angle which is really frustrating)
3- The bot teamate keeps fricking hitting into the fricking net it pisses me off
4- Acing is impossible. It's so easy to see where they're gonna hit it the only time you can miss is if you miss the pass (which goes back to the first issue), even lvl 1 bots are always on the ball and sometimes just decide to not pass it
5- Sometimes the bot, even at max lvl, just becomes braindead and stops moving, mainly happens after I miss a block

1 - I've increased the hitbox a bit for the next update. Try moving toward the ball and taking it in front of you.

2 - At the beginning, it's quite tough, but I assure you that even with little jumping and with practice, you can block everything more or less well!

3 - I'm trying to fix this out as quickly as possible!! I completely understand the frustration (sometimes instead of giving me a jump pass, he smashes it into my feet??)

4 - It's possible! But rare. Sometimes, like us, they don't have the right timing to receive and it results in an ace. If you find it too easy to receive, try removing the ball destination cursor.

5 - I need to fix this as soon as possible too!

Okay so ive played the game for probably more than 5 hours total now and I still havent figured out how to block properly. What I did notice though, is that hitting into the opponent's block is often a free point, as the trajectory the ball follows after hitting the block is unpredictable even for the ai. I would just reccomend changing how blocking works or at least just making it more clear what you have to do but whatever its your game

(Also idk if you already planned on adding this but more keyboard support would be cool, especially being able to aim with the mouse instead of directionnal keys. Adding more rebinding options would be cool aswell, like sepparating the "jumping" and "spiking" actions to 2 different keys, same for "setting" and "bumping", I think it could add more depth)

Really fun game but I don't know why it's so laggy the max fps I can get is 10 even with potato graphics. I also have a decent graphics card that can run more demanding games graphic wise.

Also I set the Max fps setting to unlimited

Thanks! Ohh, that's very strange, try locking the FPS to a number and then going back to unlimited, it might have locked incorrectly.

I tested different max fps settings but the fps is only good on the first rally and it becomes extremely laggy on the rest of the rallies.

And by first rally I mean the first one when I open the game

omg thank you so much, you're a lifesaver, I just noticed a single damn line of code that makes the match bug out until the end after the first point. I modified it, thank you immensely, the bug will be fixed in the next update!

Thank you, the game is really fun now that I can actually play it.

And one thing you should add is a counter for the amount of touches for each team, because when me and the AI recieve at the same time I try to set them and it leads to a point for the other team.

Game is super fun, however its really difficult aiming where you want to set or dig. Since they use the analog stick, you end up running away from the ball while trying to aim 

Thanks !! If you want some advice, don't hesitate to anticipate and press the button beforehand to aim where you want !! I'll soon add a button to aim where you want without the player moving!

Do you plan to make a test version for mobile phones? If possible, I can test it and look for bugs, but I really liked the game, it's very different.
